Vegetables with protein
Peanut butter and/or soy products like butter
Dried fruits/fermentables like fruit juice or juice of your choice like apples or bananas for a nutty, but still strong snack
Makes a lovely dip with fruits like strawberries, cherries, apples or bananas
You can also try to get a good diet consisting of healthy fats, sugars and natural fats such as olive oil, fish oil, olive oil, vegetable oils, avocado, nuts, grains or legumes like walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds. You can even try to get some refined sugars and/or dairy protein (especially whole plant protein), too. Remember, you’ll need to eat more than one diet. When we first started out with low-carb (low in carbs and fat), we thought all of our meals would consist of some of these foods. This is no longer true. We now have a whole-food approach of eating in harmony. We just eat how we want to eat (and we want to feel good about ourselves).
